(This Judge's Program is currently being revised. Our updated program will be announced shortly.) Apprentice Judge The USABC Apprentice Judge level is the first level of judging for the USABC. USABC Apprentice Judge level is considered a probationary period. USABC Apprentice Judges Must:

Apprentice minimally three times and receive a favorable rating (submitted in writing to the USABC Board of Directors) from three separate judges at three separate events, one being the USABC Nationals. 3. Conduct first judging assignment under the supervision of a Master Judge and receive a favorable rating (submitted in writing to the USABC Board of Directors) from this Master Judge. 4. Judge a total of three shows as a Apprentice Judge. 5. Be voted on and approved by the USABC Board of Directors at the completion of the probationary period. 6. Must have trained and titled minimally one dog to two USABC-recognized working titles (for information on USABC-recognized working titles for apprentice judges, contact the USABC). Senior Judge The USABC Senior Judge level is the second level of judging for the USABC. Only Senior Judges and Master Judges may judge the USABC Breed Suitability Test. USABC Senior Judges Must: 1. Have met all the requirements of the Apprentice Judge level and have been voted on and approved by the USABC Board of Directors. 2. Qualify as a USABC Breed Inspector. 3. Title minimally one dog to any working title per four-year period. Master Judge The USABC Master Judge level is the highest level of judging for the USABC. Only Master Judges may judge USABC Schutzhund events . USABC Master Judges Must: 1. Have trained and titled minimally one dog to aSchutzhund BH and Schutzhund I level. 2. Be approved by the President of the USABC and the USABC Director of Judges. 3. Title minimally one dog to any working title per two-year period. USABC Breed Inspector USABC Breed Inspectors are Judges that Have: 1. Met all criteria to become Senior Judges. 2. Apprenticed under three separate Senior Judges and received a favorable rating (submitted in writing to the USABC Board of Directors) at three separate events for the conformation portion of minimally a total of six BSTs. 3. Passed a written examination, administered by the USABC, on the proper structure of an American Bulldog. 4. Been voted on and approved by the USABC Board of Directors. |
